If you are keeping your wedding dress a secret, where are you stashing it?

Are you keeping it at the store until the last minute, hiding it in your home, or having a friend keep it for you? If you've come this far you don't want your fiance(e) accidentally seeing it at the last moment!

Right now it's at the shop still, but in a month I take it in for alterations (yay! Can't wait to put it on again!) so I'm hoping I can store it there and then after it's worked on, I might store it at my office or my friend's house so I know my FH won't see it.

I’ll be keeping it at my house until I need to do alterations. I don’t expect my dress for another few months so I’ve still got a while to go

Right now, it's with the seamstress.
After I pick it up in August, it'll stay in it's protective cover (it's not see-through) in one of our closets until we fly back home and get married

It's at my parent's house on a dress form in their guest bedroom. I'll be going for alterations on Saturday, so it will be with the seamstress soon.

My dress and veil are at my moms house. I will be picking it up tomorrow and leaving it at my in-laws (closer to our venue) until Friday afternoon

We live together, so initially, my mom took the dress home to her place three hours away. But I needed fittings done with my seamstress in my home town, so Mom brought the dress up with her on a visit and we asked our tenant if she had closet space! My FH never goes in the tenants area, but I sometimes do to help care for her dog. So I have easy access to my dress when needed, but I'm also assured that my FH won't find it!

My wedding dress is at the seamstress at the moment but I have been and will be in the future keeping it at my In-Laws place. That is where we are getting ready the day of the wedding as well. I trust him not to look but I do not trust myself not to pull it out all the time to gaze at it longingly haha.

My wedding dress was kept at my best friend's mom's house in Oshawa. So it was in a different city, and in a smoke free, pet free home!
