When do you wear your engagement ring? 💍

I take my ring off when I'm being active, when cleaning or cooking, when I'm taking a shower/bath. I'm actually considering buying a silicone ring to wear when I'm traveling or going camping, just to keep my ring safe!

I've always worn rings, so my adjustment was getting use to only wearing my engagement ring. I only take it off if I'm kneading dough, or if I'm lifting weights at the gym. Other than that, it's basically welded around my finger and I'm okay with it.
I work in the helping sector, and work with a bunch of folks that are living in poverty, so I really struggled wearing this /insanely/ extravagant diamond on my hand. So sometimes I'll turn this ol' rock inside my palm.

Still feeling around for what I'm comfortable with! I wear it st work all the time now (didnt at first) but I still dont wear it to bed/shower/cooking.... I wear it at the gym but only when I do cardio only! And then I give it a cleaning after. I'm sure after more time I'll be less worried about wearing it all the time but I'm still a bit scared hahha!

I take my ring off to sleep - when I first got it, I slept with it on but found my fingers swelled overnight and so it was painful in the morning.

The only other times I take it off are to shower, and if we are doing something especially dirty or where there is a real risk of losing it (camping for a week, travelling, etc). I am looking at getting a silicon ring for these occasions.

I've had mine for just over 2 weeks, but it was out for re-sizing for one week. Since getting it back about a week ago I have been wearing it every day, taking it off before bed and putting it back on after my morning shower. I forgot to put it on yesterday and was super annoyed with myself lol

I will also be removing it for soccer and I won't wear it when I go camping, hiking, etc. Other than that I think I will probably wear it almost all the time. I may even start sleeping in it as I get used to it.

I wear it on daytime even to shower and gym. I only take it off when I am going to sleep, when I play golf due to the tight gloves, and if I am cooking or baking which requires kneading or mixing with both hands.

I wear my ring all the time but trust me it took some getting used to! I wear a size 8.5 which means fake jewellery was never an option growing up because they always came as size 6ish. So now that I have one I wear it for the majority of my day. The only time it comes off is when I am working out, showering, cooking, or washing dishes. (And then I won't bring it with me on vacation - I think I will buy an enso ring perhaps.)

Also - my hands fluctuate a lot, so in the hot summer it is super tight and then inside in the air conditioning it wants to fall off... Is that normal?

Wear mine almost all the time. I don't wear it when I shower. and I depending on what i'm doing food/cooking wise I take it off (like handling raw meat).

I play beach vball and have been keeping it on for that. not sure how I would handle other sports.

as bad as this may sound. I have it fully insured with no deductible. I'm not too worried because I know I have coverage. (and luckily the sizing is great on it)

I took it off to shower, sometimes cook, evening sports. I would only take it off if I could leave it at home. I go to the gym right after work so I wear it there. Now that I’m married, I plan on just wearing the wedding ring to work.

When I got engaged, I was a ring size 7.5... my fiance ordered a 6.5... so once I crammed that puppy on, it didn't come off for a few months... haha. Now I'll take it off here and there... but for the most part I wear it 24/7. I'm more around 6.75 ring size now, so I can actually take it on and off. A few more pounds and I'll be cleaning it weekly.

I shouldn't wear it in the shower... it makes it cloudy.... but I'm not too concerned.

I still fidget a little... I barely wore jewlery before... and I definitely still catch myself staring at it

I always keep it on (even showing, sleeping etc). The only exception is when I'm playing golf or softball due because I don't want to scratch it holding the club/bat. For sports I bought a cute little Enso ring to take its place.

I always wore a ring on my ring finger (right hand though) and now that I’m engaged I took that off and wear my engagement ring on my left hand. I found it unusual the first couple days as my last right I used to fidget with and I used the prayer written on it. I wear my engagement ring all the time, except when sleeping, washing hands, showering or cooking.

I wear it mostly outside the house. I do a lot of messy work at home. Otherwise it comes off when I go to the bathroom, when I eat messy food and when I'm doing artwork
