OHMYGOSH!!! That is the sweetest and most thought out proposal Congratulations!!

We got engaged on May 7, 2021 at my family's old cottage, my favourite place in the world.


My fiancé planned the sweetest, most elaborate proposal. In summer 2020, he buried a lockbox in the forest and didn't tell anyone about it (no idea how he kept something so exciting under wraps!). Then on Valentine's 2021, he gave me a journal full of entries he had written for me over the last year, detailing dates we had been on, things he loved about me, the works. It was so sweet.
At the end of the journal was a "treasure map" for me to look for something when winter was over and we made it back to the cottage. This wasnt all the way until the first weekend of May. So even he didn't know what date we would end up getting engaged, since we didn't know how early the snow would melt and we could go! I found the lockbox and there was an adorable "Will you marry me?" key inside. I was knocked sideways with surprise and of course said yes 🥰 We then had the ring custom made together and I couldn't love it more. It's got a small amethyst underneath the diamond and I just love the hidden pop of colour.

My fiancé and I got engaged on August 18, 2021, which was my 27th birthday ❤️ We were visiting my hometown for the week and he proposed to me at my favourite place at sunset in front of my family and best friend. It was honestly the best day ever and can’t wait for our wedding day, June 4th, 2023 💍

My best friend tried to get photos of the proposal.. but my mom kept holding onto to her and crying so this was what she got 😅

That is probably the best way to do it when you're totally not expecting it! Congratulations!!

We got engaged July 31, 2021 and will be getting married July 8, 2023! He took me to the first place we met and one of my most favorite places. He just waited for the right timing until he found a group that needed help taking their photo and then asked them to take a photo of us. It was a busy day but somehow no one saw except the girl taking the photo. So it was nice kind of private moment and a great little spot we will remember always.

We got engaged July 30th 2020! We were out dirt biking for the day at Indian graves, sitting at our fav spot having a beer and he popped the question!!! Was such a amazing day, I could hardly dirt bike back to the truck I was SO excited!!!! We have decided on September 9th,2023!

We got engaged on December 17, 2021 in Ireland. We went for a walk along the beach with his parents. He then pulled out a ring box and proposed in front of Castle Green. It was one of his uncles favourite places in Ballybunion and his uncle passed away a few years ago from cancer. He said it felt like his uncle was there with him while he proposed. It was a beautiful moment🥰
