What's Your Wedding Style: Destination or Domestic?

We are domestic but I can definitely see the advantages for going to a beach resort/destination wedding.

Close to home! We didn't want to be too far away so everyone can attend.

Our is domestic because no one can afford to go anywhere.

Domestic, As long as my family can be there on our special day!

Staying close to home 100%. Both of us never wanted a destination wedding, so it was never a question

We really wanted destination, but my dad unfortunately can't travel anymore so our compromise is to have a cottage country destination wedding lol. Half of our family will have to travel and half are local so it's a mix I guess!

Domestic- we are staying here where we live, but it's considered a destination wedding for most of our guests as they have to travel 7 hours to get here.

Domestic. We talked about doing a really small destination wedding, but in the end we decided on something our friends and families could attend.

Domestic. I never wanted a destination wedding as I felt uncomfortable asking people to spend so much money and vacation time to attend.

Staying close to home. Then flying to the Dominican for our honeymoon.

Domestic. It would be nice to get married abroad but it's expensive and also inconvenient for my family as they don't have the money to travel. Plus, we plan on traveling until the end of our days since we aren't having kids lol so there's plenty of time to see the world!

We went with domestic since everyone is in the city. If we were to do this all over again, we would have chosen destination and have a very small gathering.
