The beaded bodice

I love the fitting of my dress, I have a short torso so most gowns didn’t fit right at all they made me look even shorter and frumpy. I ended up buying a Mori Lee bridesmaid dress in a champagne colour it is the only dress that made me feel like a bride. However, with that being said I love the entire gown.

My favourite part was the train, I loved the detail and lace in it! And as a bonus my train is very similar to my grandma's from back when she got married

I love that it's blush, I love the detail in the bodice, it's a freaking giant tulle ballgown, and I got it for 90% off (originally $8000) from Kleinfeld's. I just hope I still love it this much in a year. The only thing I regret about the dress is I found it so quickly. I wish I had more of the shopping experience. I'll just have to hope my sisters get engaged soon and I can live vicariously through them

Not so much the dress (though I do love it!!) but the veil alternative I am going with....a cape! A family friend is a seamstress and owns a formal/bridal shop. She's going to make it for me. It's not done yet, but we're aiming for something like the below. :-)

Inspiration

Definitely the colour (blush) and it has pockets!!

I bought it because of the flow-y, tiered, chiffon skirt. It's a little bit different and has a very soft, romantic feel.

The beading on the bodice. Some along the neckline and some off to the side—that’s what drew me to it- the ruching (still don’t k is if that’s the correct spelling!) being collected at one side and the beading to cover it.

Honestly, my neck line! It crosses at the neck in a very greekish style which I love! Also the train and the lace.

My dress has a beaded bodice and the skirt as a slit to show off my shoes!!

I love so many things about my dress, but the bodice and neckline is so pretty!

Ugh it's so hard to pick just one favourite thing but I'd have to say the pattern of the lace bodice. It's so different from anything else I've seen.

Favourite part is between how much boobage I will have with the V-neck and the fact that my dress has POCKETS!!!!

I just picked the dress I want to order a few days ago. I haven't ordered it yet cause I'm currently on holidays but I would say my favourite part would be the low back. But it also has a beautiful lace and beaded top ☺️

Oh many too many details to pick one! I have an illusion back and buttons all the way down, love the look!
