What's the best and worst... wedding picture or pose you've seen?

Joey, on August 28, 2017 at 07:05 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 9

Your photographer will be your guide on your wedding day, and will use all their expertise and professionalism to make sure your pictures turn out amazing. But, as anyone who has accidentally turned their front-facing camera on when trying to take a photo knows, not every picture is a winner Smiley surprise

So...

What's the best and worst wedding picture or pose you've seen (or done yourself!)?

Did you fall in love with something classically gorgeous? Did you fall in love with something classically gorgeous?

Have you seen something totally clever and full of personality? Have you seen something totally clever and full of personality?

Ooooor maybe one of your engagement photos didn't quite work out...Ooooor maybe one of your engagement photos didn't quite work out...

I love the unposed candid pictures I've seen on pinterest.

The worst would be of the couple so far off in the distance you can't see them.

The best are the candid moments--ones with real smiles and not smiles because there's a camera in your face. I'm also a big fan of pictures with reflections or ones where the people are in the background a bit and there's an object in the foreground that the camera is focused on.

I have seen so many bad wedding photos on diply and things like that. Funny photos where everyone is not all in. Or ones that don't seem like a good idea (such as, everyone jumping while on a dock).

My least favourite pose is where the bride taps on the groom's shoulder for the first look. I have yet to see a natural-looking picture of that moment. I'd love to capture a moment like that, without looking posed or forced.

The worst has been anything too over posed, it doesn't look natural to me.

The best pictures have been the ones where the main focus is on the groom. i find the bride is always the main attraction, and when they focus more on the groom it's really nice to see.

I like a lot of natural and candid photos. They seem to capture the most natural and real emotions! I don't really hate any particular poses as I feel that people are represented in different ways and wedding photos seem show people's personalities. That being said, I should say I am not a fan of those photos of the bridal party showing off their bums and stuff.

I love seeing a good dip and a kiss! I tried it on my wedding day and it was actually a lot harder then you think! I felt very uncomfortable doing it, hopefully it turned out good though! I don't really care for using props or signs! But overall I love a lot of poses!

I think anything too overly posed is notFor me. It just doesn't feel natural. I often think they're cute when I see them but I'm sure I'd feel ridiculous if I were the one posing.
On a side note, I really appreciate that there has been more inclusive photos included by the admins lately.

I love real photos - the bride and groom laughing or smiling, hugging or walking hand in hand. I also love the wedding party shots where everyone is just themselves and the photo is really fun.

Poses I hate the most are the super serious/no emotion expression - its my wedding day so I am going to be smiling the entire time.

The poses I hate the most are the jumping in the air pose and the one where the guys are all wearing sunglasses and smoking a cigar and have their jackets slinged over their shoulder.
