What's the best and worst... wedding party attire you've had to wear?

I've never been in a wedding before but I loved the dress I wore to my FH best man's wedding a couple years ago.

I've been in three wedding parties, but only had two dresses; the third wedding I was in I was able to wear the same dress as the first wedding. The second wedding I actually got to choose the style of dress, so that was nice.

I've only been in two wedding parties and have no complains about the dresses chosen, i guess i have been pretty lucky.

I was a BM only once and it wasn't great. The bride went with 1 dress style for the group, with the exception of the MOH. Most of us had to wear a tea-length strapless dress. I'm short, so it was ankle-length on me. It was too pricey to alter it/make it shorter. In the end, I had to suck it up. What I didn't like about the whole experience, was the fact that the MOH was able to pick her gown and that the bride didn't really want to hear our opinions about the dress she had picked for us.

I was really lucky that the one wedding I was in, the bride bought a ton of material in the color she wanted and then told each of us to get a dress made. The only requirement was that it had to be floor length and cover the shoulders. We all had different style dresses and it worked beautifully.

I have only been in one wedding as a BM and got to wear a really lovely floor length blue dress that I actually wore to another few events in the following years.

I was a bridesmaid in a friends wedding earlier this summer... She picked the dress she wanted me to wear and bought it for me. Id say the dress was a real win because i was able to wear the same dress to the other 3 weddings I attended this summer!

I have been a bridesmaid once, and I loved our dresses! They were a blush pink, floor length with a lace bodice, and they were super flattering on all of us. I actually wore it again to another wedding the same year!

I've only been a BM once and I got to choose my own black dress so I have no complaints.

I've been fortunate that my dresses have been decent. Actually the dresses I wore were almost the exact same dress except one was pink and one was brown!

I have only been in one wedding party that I remember. It wasn't horrible by any means...except the cowboy boots as I am a city girl! Also they were real boots.....they were a couple hundred dollars for me to wear them only 1 time!
