Make it sound like your needing some alone time to center yourself or something. Change out of the fancy shoes to the chucks!!

Make it like the last thing you do, right before the wedding, so she doesn't have a chance to see it until its too late!

I love that idea! I wore Chucks to my high school grad (and my family has banned me from wearing them to formal events ever since) and would love to sneak a pair under my gown. Depends on if I can get away with it without my mother finding out and not having a coronary.

LOL!! Well, my fella isn't super keen on the chucks, but myself and the 5 kids are definitely wearing them. He may wear his, but he says he will struggle with it a bit so he might not. Doesn't matter to me either way, I want him comfortable, but I am definitely wearing mine!

I wore moccasins for the whole day! I live in an Aboriginal community, so an Elder made me a beautiful pair to wear during the day. They were the comfiest things ever (basically wearing slippers all day!).

I also wore a pair of purple Hunter rainboots when I had to walk outside for some photos or to and from the church. A perfect combination for a spring wedding!

My fiance wore the shoes that came with the tux rental.

I'll likely be in heels and maybe flats! I would loooove my groom and his groomsmen to wear Airforce shoes but I also really want purple... seems a waste of money cause I doubt most of them would wear them again.

I am going for the classic Manolo 70mm but im blush and not blue. There are so comfy, I have the same one for years in lace and it was always my to go comfy chic shies so I have no plan for a second pair of Shoes or should I ?! And I am second guess my shelf as well as should I have got them in blues instead ?!?! Still time to return them and get the blue ones.

FH and I will be wearing jordan sneakers during the wedding similar to the one in the photo. But i also plan to wear heels during the ceremony and just switch to jordans during the reception.

The groom wore brown Oxford-like shoes.

I want to wear converse but my FH doesn’t like the idea. I don’t want to wear heels, or flats and have always figured I’d wear half soles/yoga shoes to let go as barefoot as possible without actually going shoeless.

Lots of time to figure it out though. Happy to see another Chuck Taylor fan online.

I’m doing sparkly shoes with a little heel. The picture is in bad lighting so doesn’t show off the sparkle!

I bought some nice heels, but if my feet get sore I'm going to change into my old irish soft shoes - they're basically flats, pay homage to my heritage and I think would make a cute photo.
