What were you most excited to book?

The venue for sure. It's where I'm envisioning everything happening, and it's pretty.

The venue, fiñding it was stressful but it's such a perfect location!

The venue! We booked it before we were even engaged and didn't do any other wedding planning until after our engagement! But, it was nice to have that out of the way so we could enjoy our engagement for a bit, and actually had an answer when people asked when it would be!

The florist. I was so excited to book the florist.

The venue, just loved the location. Once we had that booked then must everything just fell into place.

So far all we have booked is our Venue but that's what made it so real! With that we have the Wedding Date set in place and have something to tell family other than "next year".

Venue! We fell in love when we saw it and we knew without really looking at any other venues that this was the one we wanted.

I was most excited about booking a caterer! We ended up with an amazing caterer and I knew his food would be a hit. I was looking forward to it because people will remember great food!

Our rings were the thing I was most excited to do. It's the most official! (to me)

I wouldn't say most excited to book it. but booking my photographer was hilarious and fun. Shes a good friend of mine. and I didn't want to ask her and her feel obligated to say yes because I really wanted her to come to my wedding and enjoy it as a guest. She didn't want me to feel obligated to use her because she is a photographer.
so while going shopping one night (and after sending her some photographers to check out their work). we both blurted out how we didn't want to make the other feel they had to. etc etc. and we just started laughing. and I said "I love your photos and you and your dad are fun. wanna be my photographer"
boom booked! hahaha (at a great price...and no deposit required)

Definitely the venue! I was beyond excited to go look at all the magnificent places I had on my list and decide where we would get married. We didn't even have a city in mind at first, so we travelled around between our two cities looking at some fun places!

Our florist! The first one we had booked really didn't have a good rapport with us. She made us scared and she was sort of skittish. When we found a new one we knew we needed to hire her immediately. She made us super excited for the overall envision of our big day!

We were most excited to book our venue.

It was our second stop on a day scheduled with venue visits and coordinated interviews.
After being disappointed from seeing my first choice in person (Starling Lane Vinyards in Victoria, BC - it was beautiful but not us), my FH sand I were pleasantly surprised at how much we both got the feels while touring our second venue (The Gardens at HCP). And it remained our front runner while visiting our other venue contenders (Parkside Hotel & Hotel Oswego).

Our photographer’s booked so next up is sending our deposit to the coordinator so that we can get started with serious planning. I can’t wait!
