What’s your veil length?

Mine is about waist length. Not sure ill wear it all day or not though..... Thinking just for the ceremony and pictures

Mine was cathedral length for the ceremony. It was the same one my mom had worn. I also bought an elbow length one for the reception

I almost got an elbow length veil but ended up opting for no veil and a nice hair piece.

I loved the look of my dress with the long cathedral veil but I know it would drive me crazy so I went with a simple elbow length veil that also looks beautiful with my dress

Mine is from my moms dress it’s long and has lace around the edges.

I will be wearing the shorter veil for Grand Entrance and dinner cause we will be circling around the tables to greet guests. I don't want anyone to step on the cathedral veil. After the cake cutting and before the first dance, I would make a quick disappearing with my bridesmaids to change to a short white dress and dancing shoes (no more veil). We are planning to do Swing dancing and my wedding gown is too bulky even after all the bustles.

When I first tried my dress at my first boutique on I had veils paired with it but didn’t like any ...and when I bought my dress at the 3rd boutique i actually bought it without trying it on (they didn’t have one in stock)! So I’ll just have to see what works once it comes in!

Fingertip! I didn't want anything longer and annoying.

Fingertip! The bottom of my dress is quite busy so I didn't want to add to it!

I also bought it for $16 on JJ's House!

Mine is a chapel length I believe. I found it on sale at Davids Bridal for $40 from $150!

My mom made my veil! It is a double and a bit longer than fingertip. She cut it in a circle, so it's nice and full.

I haven’t bought mine yet but I’m going for a long chapel length veil similar to this one in the picture

Like Cherry, I will have 2 veils: For the ceremony part I'm wearing a birdcage veil for vintage vibes.

For the reception, I'm changing into a fingertip veil with beading on the edges. I'll end up taking it off after the first dance probably to not worry about it falling out of my hair later on.

I will have 2 veils. A 3D flowers Cathedral veil for the ceremony and a Fingertips length veil for the grand entrance to the reception with double sides Swarovsky crystals.

I skipped the veil as well - my dress was strapless and I opted for an organza wrap to hide my upper arms, and a veil just didn't work with a wrap. I wore a jeweled hairpiece instead.

Thanks I completely get what you're saying about the detail on the back being something you want to show off too - here's the back of mine (don't worry, I will get pics without a veil as well!)

Cathedral for me - I wanted something very dramatic. I'm only wearing it for the ceremony and some of the photos, though.

I really wanted a cathedral length veil, but it just didn't work that well with my dress. So my mom beaded a finger tip length veil for me.

No veil for this girl! The back of my dress has a lot of detail and I really want to showcase that. When I bought my dress, everyone that was with me agreed that a veil would just hide the back if it was cathedral, and a shorter veil didn't look good with it.

Instead I am adding a hair piece with pearls, and lots of sparkle
