What month are you getting married?

We are getting married Sept 10.
Destination wedding. Any destination weddings coming up? Any advise.

We’re getting married in July. The reason that we chose July is that we are teachers and are off in the Summer.

We haven't landed on a date yet but we keep toying with either January 25th 2025 or February 1st 2025. February is the least popular month to tie the knot. I read a study that said it accounted for only 3% of Canadian weddings in 2022!!

We just bought a house and got engaged in September/October of 2023, are getting a dog in April of 2024, want to redo our backyard this summer I just feel like we have so much going on that I can't be planning a wedding on top of it all!

We chose August 4, 2024. Between some of my professional commitments and wanting a summer wedding where all of our family and friends could attend, we decided that a summer long weekend would be ideal.

We chose September 28th, 2024, which is my paternal grandparents' anniversary and the day after my parents' anniversary. We're getting married on a golf course near Toronto, and I think the fall colours will be beautiful for our outdoor ceremony and photography. My only concern is that it might be a little chilly.

I wanted to get married in November but now we've run out of money and got some problems, so we have to postpone it😭

but I'm not sure if it is okay to get married in winter

I originally wanted a fall wedding but my fiance wanted a spring wedding. We are getting married May 18, 2024 and are getting our engagement photos done October 14 so we reached a nice compromise!

Sounds like you're way ahead of the game! We had ours in August in the evening and it was lovely, very comfortable temperature!

Absolutely I fall in the popular months! But it was mostly due to the fact that my fiance and I wanted a Friday the 13th as our wedding date! So we looked for all of the fridays in 2024 and September was the first one that came up. Worked out well for us as we both love the fall season. Temps are cooler but still sunny and can make for some great evening photos. We were both heavily against summer, as it can be really really hot. I did try for a winter wedding, but with a lot of our family from out of town travel could have been difficult.

August 10th 2024. My fiance wanted a winter wedding, and I absolutely refused. We chose summer that way it doesn't interfere with my schooling or other members invited that may be in school. Everything is booked, done and paid for and ready to go. No stress here 🥰

September 21, 2024 in Toronto. We wanted to get married in the Fall because that is our favorite season, we met in the Fall and we didn't want to get married when it was hot.
