What info did you put in your RSVP?

Sharon, on September 30, 2016 at 11:05 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 7

Hey guys! Just wondering what information I should put in my rsvps. I saw a few examples in here where people included song request, meals, wedding date, venue adress, ... but then I'm wondering what information I'll put on my invitations. what do you think?

what info did you put in your rsvp?

    Hi Sharon Smiley heart

I also like Valerie and Nelly's ideas for the RSVP Smiley smile It also depends whether your guests will be able to invite a +1 or their children. Have many guests are you inviting?

You could have a look at these discussions for suggestions or see what other people are doing:

Are kids invited to your wedding?

    The plus 1!!

You could also use this example to include song request in your RSVP:

    RSVP Song Request

How do you like the idea?

We are having a pre set menu, we aren't giving our guests a food option. We just need to know how many adults, children are coming

Hi Valerie, thanks so much for sharing your invitations with me! I really like how you phrased them. The "Can't wait to celebrate" and "Sorry to miss out" are way more fun than the trad yes or no.

It's true that the managing the songs might get complicated... Maybe I'll have a line just for the song request make a list and give it to the DJ (once I find him!!) so he knows what type of songs people like...?

A lot of people in my group, also have dietary restrictions, I was thinking of having menu options, but I think it might be more simple to go for dietary restrictions directly, since we're thinking of having food stations. Thank you so much for your advice!

I put dietary restrictions (lots of vegans and vegetarians in the group) and for people with a plus 1, a line for their guests name (so I can make the escort card). I also included the website saying that they could also RSVP there. I MIGHT still add a song request to the back of the RVSP card (since I'm printing them myself anyways)... but I honestly don't know if I feel like dealing with that logistically. I mean the DJ should know what to do to get people dancing and the guests will enjoy it I'm sure.

I will have a set menu (aside from dietary needs people have), so I didn't put a menu option, but if I had choices available, I would have put that as well

This is mine as of now (I change my mind often, haha)
