Who knew there could be so many shades of white?!?! And off-white, and ivory... oh my! Smiley tongue


Before I started looking at dresses I had no idea there would be so many different shades to choose from, and had never considered that it might be based on my skin tone! I ended up in an off-white dress in the color called 'Oyster' Smiley xd


So - what color is your dress??

    Mine is called Vanilla Latte 😄 It has kind of like a pearl Color beading on the top with a vanilla coloured lace on the skirt with a nude underlay

    My dress is Ivory and I love it. Tried on white and it just didn't work with my fair colouring, just washed me out. The Ivory gave my skin a lift.

    Same Kathy! All of the consultants also told me right away that with my coloring I should be looking at Ivory!

    I had NO idea that there were so many different colours of wedding dresses. The dress I went with is technically Ivory lace and moscato tulle over a moscato gown, with porcelain tulle illusion. What a mouthful haha!

    My dress colour is called "mocha" - the bottom layer is an almost-beige colour and there is an ivory lace overlay. It has the exact rustic look I was going for! I just hope it's not too difficult to "match" flower girl dresses to!

    Mine is ivory, I tried on a pure white dress and it just did not work with my skin tone, ivory was much nicer.
