Wedding Website

Hi beauties, are you going to have your wedding website? I'm already busy with other stuff that I'm not sure it's a must have for the wedding.
Do you think it's important to have a website or I can skip it!

Personally, I'm grateful that I've made ours. It's super simple to fill out/make, and rather than trying to pack lots of information on the invitation/details card, I can simply include the wedding website.

Our website includes our ceremony & reception information, dress code, parking info, recommended hotels, registry information, e-RSVP, and even a contact form for people to ask more questions.

I would take a bit of time and browse the Wedding Wire website builder... you may find a little time building the site will save you some time/headaches in the future.

It's skippable, but I love ours. It let's me update things as they happen, have one location to send people to for information on hotel blocks, registries, etc.

It's totally skippable! I am doing one but it's because I have the time and it's something that most of my friends would want to look at seeing as how I'm 21 and they are all very tech friendly. If I only had to worry about the parents and grandparents then I would skip out on it.

If anything I would make one just so that if they forget the directions to the venue then you could have that on the website where they can see it from any mobile device with data.

Totally skip-able! We have one because our guests are all over the place and to have information all in one spot, but it can all go in your invites (RVSP, Directions, etc.)

I skipped it myself since the information was on the invite.

It's not needed! My husband is a techie, so the website was his project. But, most of that information can go in the invites. Things like directions to the venue(s), hotel blocks, and RSVPs can all be included in the invitations. Everything else on the website: pictures, our story, our wedding party etc, those are all extras that people don't need to know!

I think it's something that's 100% okay to skip. Only one of the weddings I've been to (out of many) even had a wedding website tbh and I didn't get much use out of it.

Totally something you can skip if you don't have the time. We have one for convenience, we live across the country so don't see our guest regularly and with the busy life we live we don't always have time to have phone calls etc with them. So if they have any questions or want to know specifics about the wedding it's all there. Plus we have our RSVP set up to it. But if it's not something you don't have the time and efforts for then it's not a big deal if you decide against it. Definitely not a wedding planning must.
