Wedding Registry. Hudson's Bay vs. Bed Bath & Beyond

That happened to us too! We had quite a few people who didn't bring a card or gift, so we can't even play the game of elimination! I sent out thank you cards to everyone who came to our wedding (because weddings are not about gifts!), and no one asked if I received their gift, so I still have no idea who it's from!

We started with Hudson's Bay. The first time, only one item we had chosen actually showed up on the computer. So, our hour of choosing things was wasted. They then called us a few days later to say we hadn't finished registering. So we went back. They couldn't even find us on the computer. They do have good deals for the couple. We were given about 5 coupons to spend during our engagement and there would've been another 10 or so for after the wedding to buy what was left on our registry. So that part is attractive about the Bay. We found them to expensive. For the same brands that were at Bed Bath and Beyond.

BBB, the staff were so knowledgeable. We had some questions and they had no problem explaining the difference. We found the selection of items to be better and the price range much more reasonable! They had one day after the wedding where you could get 20% off anything left on your registry.

We also had out of town guests, and the Bay is connected to Home Outfitters, and on their website, it doesn't say if the item is from the Bay or Home outfitters, so it could be a bit confusing.

I bought something from a friend's registry from the Bay, but I didn't know their registry number. I had to go across the store to look it up before they would ring my order through; BBB would look it up themselves.

All that to say, Bed Bath and Beyond was a much better experience for us! Both for registering and for buying!

We have our registry with Bed Bath and Beyond and it’s been great! Everyone has commented on how easy it is to use, how easy it is to find our registry. They also like that you can go in store or online to buy the products.
We like how easy it is to manage the registry and how many products we found to add to it. We tried other places but they were a lot harder to even just set up so we gave up on them.

We are with BB&B and love it!!! Great options!!! The only downside is some of the gifts we have already received are from "Anonymous" so we legit have no idea who sent some of the items... and I have no idea how to find it out hahah!!! But otherwise the service is great and it's super easy to use!

We're not having a registry, but I prefer the shopping experience at BB&B to The Bay.

Honestly I do not recommend Hudson's Bay. NOTHING we want is ever in stock, it is incredibly irritating.

I haven't looked into it that much but I will probably register at Bed Bath & Beyond based on my quick google search. It looks like (so please let me know if anybody finds otherwise) Hudson's Bay offers 10% off items up to 6 months past the wedding, but Bed Bath & Beyond offers 20% off items after the wedding but I'm not sure for how long after.
