Wedding Invitations

I would write them if theres space, if not do you have a website? make sure its on there. but as a guest if i got a wedding invitation that said july 5 i would assume its the coming july. i dont think people are dumb and will figure it out on their own

Oh no! I can sympathize; I wrote the current year on ours instead of the year of our wedding--so it appeared our wedding had already happened!

It might be a pain to redo them, but I might do that if there is no space to write in "2020". Another option is to include something else with the invitation that has the year--such as an RSVP card or a mini engagement announcement--a picture of the two of you with something like "excited to be married in 2020"

I'm sure the people coming to your wedding will realize your wedding is this year hopefully!

If you did them by hand is there any room to write 2020? Even in a light colour in the background to look like its behind the date? What does it look like? (Feel free to blur out the details or crop it out)

Writing a small detail by hand is good enough to add since that was the only information needed. Sometimes, we forget to overlook details when we create invitations. Upon the choice of getting reprinted invitations needed ordered by Vistaprint, they are excellent in their service to send updated batch to you at no charge. Consider the option if you feel you need to contact them. If the invitations are from another site, that may depend on their policy.

I feel like as long as you put the day off the week that it falls on as well as the number date then people will catch on as to which year it is. Like Saturday January 11th, for example. I also wouldn't worry if the date and year are on your website. I believe dates also show up on registries, if you have one. I think you'll be fine.

Where did you get your invites from? I've heard Vistaprint is often understanding of mistakes and will replace them for low/no cost.
