Wedding favors?!?

Tanya, on November 21, 2016 at 14:35 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 8
I found these super cute mini mason jar salt and pepper shakers that I want to give out to my guests. I have attached a picture of the set I bought for us.But we have a lot of couples and some families coming. So do you give every single person a set? I don't think a household would need 2 or 4 sets. But I also think everyone should get something. So should I just give everyone a set and maybe do something more child frendly for the kids.Or do a set per couple and something else as well maybe something eatable. Or do I just not do the salt and pepper shakers at all?And if I do go with the second option, do I give both to the single people?

Hey Tanya! I'm so glad to see you back in the community! I think that's an amazing idea! You're favours will definitely be useful Smiley smile I'm glad you had this thought for your guests, I think it's better if there's 1 set per family like you suggested and do something edible too. Maybe you could make the edibles both for adults and kids to make it easier?

You can take a look at these ideas for inspiration:

I thought you might also like this idea Smiley love

What edible had you thought of for the kids?

That sounds perfect! It can be a lot of work but you have time! That's smart that you started working on it now!

I really love mason jars and I plan on having them all over my wedding. So when I saw these (at my local dollar store) I was over the moon. I think I'm gonna go with 1 set per couple plus something to snack on and one set for any singles. Then kids will get something to help entertain then and maybe a sweet treat as well.I think this works best but it does sound like alot lol.

With the seating cards would be perfect! And way less work for you to track people down and hand them out!

Yeah I was thinking to have them with the table seating cards or something so they could see that it was for the couple. As for the kids that's easy for me to figuer out, we have 3 of our own soo I know kids all to well lol.Thank you for suggestions!!

Those are super cute! I think that one set per couple would work well and maybe adding something edible would be great too! If someone is single, then they would get their own set. Great idea!

    Hi Tanya!

I think you bring up a very vaild concern- I think one set per couple makes the most sense, and I think this coupld be done by packing them as a pair and writting names on them. This might cause more work, as you have to distribute them to ensure delivery...but might also be a nice personal touch to hand deliver favours.

I think giving children a more child friendly favour is very thoguhtful too. Candy goes a long way with little people!

Does that sounds ok? Or maybe not what you are looking for?
