I am not sure about your budget, but I have seen a few designers over the last few years who have dresses that incorporate black in some way - Sophia Tolli, Essence of Australia, Maggie Sottore, Allure, Jasmine Bridal...Keep an eye out for fall lines as well

It is your day, and NOT every Bride dreams of a White Wedding!
You should be YOU!!!
I myself LOVE Black...as does my future husband!
We BOTH also LOVE these two colors...Burgundy & Wine!
So because of this we went tradition White...with a twist & Black with a twist...and for the Reception...we went with a DEEP WINE COLOUR🍷!
So when we enter the Reception...there wouldn't be a stitch of White to be seen on either of us!
Because...it's what we like, want to do...and MOST of all ... ALL ABOUT US...
Good luck on your dress hunt.
KEEPING in mind...if your head isn't swimming with ALL the dresses, you will look at, think of and try on... since you know your preferred styles... makes it that much easier to find YOUR perfect dress.
Look for what YOU LIKE...otherwise...you may turn the joy of finding your PERFECT dress ... INTO a quest for EVERYONE else's dream...and lose track of WHAT YOU WANT...and possibly regret...

That is the last thing any SPECIAL BRIDE (Which we ALL are) really wants, OR should have to endure!

And for a moody bold look without going for full black, think about checking out grey and silver wedding gowns, as well as black belts, veils with black lace accents, and black belts!

Maybe you can incorporate accents of black or a dark colour into your outfit. Black or dark shoes, a black or dark brooch, your bouquet accented with some black flowers, etc.

If you want a black dress, I wouldn't nix the idea just yet. While I understand your fiance is traditional, if wearing black is what you really want, I hope he respects that. There are a ton of ways to adhere to a traditional wedding but you are also half of the celebration and should get a say on how things go.

When they did a black dress wedding on Suits, it looked amazing (and this is a show about lawyers, traditionally a profession with conservative attire).

Nothing fit and flare, trumpet or mermaid i have a big butt and i dont like the way they look on me i seen that one but its like pops of black are so taboo in weddings they are so under rated

What kind of wedding dress are you looking for? Ballgown? Mermaid? Fit and flare? Too much black?
