Walking Down The Aisle Music

Megis, on May 3, 2018 at 15:38 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 10
Haven't chosen my walking down the aisle music. I don't want to chose something I feel akward with or will make me too teary.

Also the ceremony is at city hall and we're supposed to provide our own music.

How did you choose your music and any suggestions?

We laid in bed and closed our eyes and i played country songs that would make us happy to see me walk down to until we chose on " Hey Pretty Girl" by Kip Moore (We're having a country wedding) We both saw me to it. no questions

I chose a song from a Harry Potter soundtrack so that I could include a piece of my nerdy obsession in my day lol. It is a track called Harry in Winter. It is beautiful and doesn't have any lyrics and is not something most people would normally use.

I also want a song that will reduce the tears, I'm going to cry regardless but I'd like to keep it at a minimum. I'm looking for an upbeat song but nothing too fast and crazy.. IRS going to be a hard pick lol

I have known what I wanted since I was a kid... just loved it as it has a really nice vibe to it. I think you may cry, regardless of the music.. so I wouldnt worry too much about it!

I also knew it was the song as soon as I heard it. It also comes from a movie we have watched together many times. I’m not much for love songs or super romantic ballades but I do love this 1 song. I really hope it doesn’t make me cry but I’m pretty sure it will make him cry a bit.

If you need some inspiration I would suggest just do a search for wedding instrumental songs on YouTube. There are actually a lot of videos of examples with brides walking down the isle so it might help you narrow it down if you don’t want one that makes you too teary.

    What’s your favourite love song?
Maybe you can find an instrumental version that will help minimize the tears.

But it’s also totally ok to cry at your wedding and it makes be bound to happen no matter what you end up choosing.

Ugh mines makes me teary lol but as soon as I heard it I knew I wanted to walk down the isle to it. Our wedding has a country theme to it so it’s a country song.
