Venue suggestions?

Kyle, on January 8, 2017 at 22:00 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 3

Overwhelming looking at all the options. We are trying to keep things a cheap as possible because we do not have a very big disposable income, but finding a location that is good for both reception and ceremony is hard. Any hidden gems someone can share with me?

It will be better if you opt for all inclusive wedding venue as it will save your efforts in finding caterers etc and it'll be economical also. At the time of my marriage, I booked all inclusive wedding venue with name House Plantation at Texas. We booked one hall which can accommodate our 50 guests and it was really a lifetime memorable moment for us. You should also prefer such wedding venues and it will certainly be economical to you.

Hi Kyle! Welcome! What style of wedding are you looking for? Outdoors/indoors? How many guests? There are some venues that are less expensive up front but require you to rent things so the cost can actually be more than something that's all inclusive. Something to keep in mind! What have you looked at in Vancouver?

There are lots of good ones that can be used for both the ceremony and the reception! The Vancouver Rowing Club is a great location right by Stanley Park. They typically do the ceremony out on the dock and then the reception inside. (And since your wedding is in July hopefully it won't be raining! Always good to have a rain plan just in case though! Fingers crossed for you!) The Capilano Suspension Bridge also does weddings but I'm not sure what their pricing is like. The UBC Boathouse is beautiful and was on the lower end of pricing. They also typically do ceremonies on the dock and then the reception inside.

Have you seen the website Vancity Weddings? http://www.vancityweddings.com/ I found it to be super helpful to research wedding vendors in the area. Good luck! Keep us posted!

Hey Kyle! Welcome to the community! I'm so glad you're reaching out about this! Smiley smile

You can look out different options in the vendors list on our website: Wedding Venues Vancouver

Maybe something like a park? You can filter by "types of service" to see only a certain type of venues.

You should also reach out to Melonie, I know she had a hard time finding a good location at first and finally found one: Now what?

What type of venue would you like? Indoor or outdoor? Banquet hall or something more rustic?
