Hi ladies! We finally found our ceremony/reception venue, it's at a nursery in abbotsford!
Now that we've found our venue... what (should) happen next?! Is there certain things we should start researching and trying to book before anything else? Our wedding will be in July 2018
They supply tables, chairs, the tent, washrooms and space, and we can rent table cloths and decor from them if needed

    I found my dress at the first shop I went to, so it much much easier than I expected! I had other bridal appointments that I then cancelled. I am pretty excited about the harpist idea it is much less expensive than I anticipated it would be. Your location is beautiful! I love ours as well, outside locations are amazing! Smiley smile

    Thank you!! Awh so exciting congrats! Was it easy to find your dress? And a harpist would be sooo beautiful! Haha yea I was hoping to find one that included more but we fell in love with this one, luckily we're planning early enough in advance it shouldn't be to bad (I hope)

    That location is amazing! I second what everyone else said. We have our venue booked and I have a photographer and ordered a dress (I wanted to start looking early incase I had trouble finding something I liked - HAHAHAHA-) we are meeting a DJ this weekend and then I am on the hunt for an officiant and a harpist for the ceremony before Christmas. I am going in order of what is most important to me and what I am spending the most on. My venue does all the catering as well so when I booked that I had a whole bunch of stuff I didn't need to worry about anymore. I am trying to do one thing at a time so I don't make myself (and then everyone else) too crazy.

    Do they include any catering/ provide for a fee?

    Also- the Lavender and Sage colours are such a pretty idea! My colours are Lemon and Sage!

    That willow tree is just magical! the whole place looks so lush...great location Smiley smile

    Also a giant bonus that they include the tent for you- I know coordinating tent rental can get complicated fast.

    Congrats Melonie! I second Melissa. I would start researching officiants, photographers, DJs and caterers next. That's awesome that they are supplying all the furniture! Do you and your fiance have a theme or colour scheme? Can't wait to hear more about your wedding! Good luck!

    Hey Melonie!

    Congrats on booking the first "big one"! maybe you can share pictures?

    Next I would suggest looking for an officiant, DJ and Photographer...those, the the venue are the four big ones that seem to book up the fastest!
