For those of you who are already married or very soon to be married, what did you do regarding your vendors on the seating chart? We're planning to have a seating chart professionally made up, and with 5 weeks to go, I will need to have all the correct name information to them by next week. Do I bother contacting my DJ company and get them to give me the name of the individual who will be working our event? Or do I just put "DJ"?

I am open to suggestions (but not open to changing my seating chart format lol)!

For reference, I am planning to have a seating chart similar to this one:

Thanks in advance!

My photographers have requested to sit close to the head table in order to get the best opportunity for photos! i’ll be sitting them with family!

I know the names of our vendors so I plan on putting them on the list and seating them all at the same table - but if you don't then I would reach out. If they don't say their names or get back to you then putting the name of the company should be fine.

I'll be putting it as: John Doe - DJ company so that people don't think that they are guests.

In both cases (DJ fro you and photographer for Seleena) I would contact the company and ask if they wish to sit on their own (maybe the DJ will just eat where his equipment is set up?) or if they want to sit with your guests.

I used to shoot weddings, and I usually sat with the guests - if there's a way that they can have easy access to get up and have access to you guys quickly, that helps - this was they can capture some of the spontaneous moments on short notice too.

Some vendors may prefer to sit off to the side - I think they'd appreciate it if they had the option.

Wondering the same thing! I only have 2 photographers who I don't know what to do with. We just have one long, family style table. Do I put them on the end to hang out with my family, or do they get their own separate table? No clue lol
