Traditional or Twist: White Dress?

Cliodhna, on February 17, 2020 at 09:05 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 23

Will you or your fiancé(e) put your own personal twist on the traditional wedding dress and opt for something other than white? Blush? Yellow? Blue? Or do you love traditional white wedding gowns and look forward to wearing your own?

Will you wear a traditional white wedding dress? Or are you shaking things up?

Sticking with an off-white/ivory gown. We are looking for a very chic/glam wedding so white will look great!

    Mine's white.

I was really surprised at the dress I wound up with because I originally had the idea for tea length with a coloured petty coat... but mine is a Greecian/Flowy and white! I call it my Athena warrior dress, because why be a princess on your wedding day when you can be a goddess? Smiley tongue

My dress is ivory with a nude underlay in the bodice, so still pretty traditional

It is more or less traditional - it's an ivory/latte mix.

I wore ivory - kind of white, but not? I would say it's still traditional though, it's not like I wore a blue/black/red/etc. colour dress.

Mine is ivory and champagne, I didn't think pure white would go too well with my FH's brown suit and the dress style I liked was two toned

My dress is anything other then traditional, the colour is champagne and it is actually a bridesmaid dress not a wedding gown!

My dress is almond and ivory, so I guess that's pretty traditional. I'm adding funky shoes! :-)

Traditionally white! I’ve always envisioned a white dress so I couldn’t go with anything else.

I went traditional on this. My dress was technically ivory but I can never tell the difference between white and ivory

I ended up going traditional white but I was really close to going with a two piece ensemble which would've had a purple top with a white skirt

My dress is champagne, but I would still consider it traditional.

And my pale completion is so pink that true white was not flattering on me at all! Ivory and champagne are my friend 😉

I'm going traditional. My dress is ivory although it looks pretty white to me.
