too many people on my list!! help!!

Hi guys!! I would like to know how you are getting organized for guests? it all seems very complicaeted to me!!! We have a big family and since we announced our engagement many family members from out of town showed interest in flying over for our wedding next year…. some are just waiting for confirmation to book their flights! Smiley atonished I still only have a very vague idea of how many people i can invite but the list is already very long! we had planned around 120 guests but it seems almost impossible to cut down our list to that number! in my family marriage i such a big thing that everyone wants to come and since our parents are helping us organize and pay for the wedding i feel bad telling them to cut people off our list Smiley sad and my boyfriend has a large group of friends who will probably also bring a +1, right now we’re at about 250 guests I was not expecting that many people and it makes me feel under huge pressure for all the organization…. Smiley cry how can i cut off my guest list without hurting anyone?

    We come from very large families and it's important to us to have everyone there to celebrate with us. We're having 600 guests

    Sorry to hear that darling. I had to say no to people in my family too cause it was becoming too much... They came to understand cause they know we can't invite everyone. Especially the people I haven't seen in years and barely even know!! I know you'll make the right decision sweety.

    I know what you mean! It's hard to invite everyone and eventually we have to make choices and revisit oulr list a few times, but don't worry, it's not because you invite that many people that they can all make it. Establish priorities in your list it really helps!
