A lot goes into planning a wedding! I find the checklists are good for the bigger things, but there are smaller things that need to be thought of but aren't on the list. What are some of the smaller details that you have come across? For example, most people think about the cake, but what about the cake knife? (If you want a special one--I'm sure most venues will provide a regular knife). Or, the signing table at the registry.

Even things like pets - whos ganna look after them? time to pee- will you be on your period ? etc

Also remember: the card box, little favours, signage (unplugged sign, treat table sign, signs for the roads so your guests know where to go), "emergency kit" for the morning of (tide pen, needle and thread, deodorant, candies, water, etc), figure out snacks for the day of when getting ready (maybe a subway platter), etc. Hope that helps! I could think of more, but that's just quick off the top of my head.
