That big moment - when are you sending out your invites?

Rule of thumb is 8 weeks but for us I tried to consider a few things. Those who have to travel especially by plane we sent out 8 months in advance so they can look at flight deals etc.

Also we are on a Friday and it's in the summer so we are giving 3 months notice. This way people can plan accordingly and all of us know how quickly summers are planned!

And yes we are both nervous and excited!

8 weeks before your wedding would be the latest you would want to with the RSVP cut off to be 3-4 weeks beforehand. that’s just for postage so it gets to where it needs to go in time! -coming from a post office employee(my fiancé)

Our wedding is August. We plan to send ours out June. And get them back by July.

I'm excited to see them now! I hope so - I ordered twice as many of these as the amount I ordered for save the dates. I plan to invite a few more people, but I think I accounted for that. I'm so disorganized with the guest list lol

I got them on Friday and am super happy with them!

Just got my Save the Dates last week. Planning on sending them out this weekend hopefully! I wasn't planning on doing STDs but I didn't want to send our invites too early, so I'll be sending those closer to July-August for our October wedding. So nervous!!

No sadly - I used Canva - not sure if you have heard of it. But it is a great drag and drop tool to help you design your own graphic designs for really anything you want!

We sent out our invitations four months before, gave our guests two months to RSVP. We did online RSVPs. People entered their name, if they were coming or not and how many people were coming. Well, we received one that entered 742 for the number of people coming! The name was also Sidney McDavid, which is a combination of the names of the captains of our favourite NHL teams. We figured out who it was (my brother!) and he confessed before we had a chance to comment about it!

Our wedding is in july and I plan to send our invites out in april. and I have already ordered them so they will be all prepared before then.

We’re going to send ours out in about May or June I think! Our wedding is October but I like things done early 😂

The invitations were sent out way longer than needed 9 months in advance when it could have been 3 months before. Sometimes, it all works out for the best.

The plan is to send everything out in April 6 months out. We are very excited as everything is finally coming together.

I just finished designing our invites! We imagined we would do e-invites for so long but ended up making a switch to mail invites and we are happy about it! We are going to send out in April, 6 months before the wedding. I can't wait to send them out!

I have to get some info from the venue still so I can order my invites. I have the date set but not the time of ceremony and reception which is just down a hallway. I don't think we'll be sending ours out till Oct/Nov for February next year wedding...

I'm excited! And also nervous if I haven't invited everyone that I should have. I ordered invites and rsvps yesterday, I'm not sure when I'll send them out maybe March or April.

I sent mine about 10 days before christmas!! so exciting!!
