Thank You Cards: Picture or No Picture?

Our photographer includes thank yous in his package so it will be a wedding picture.

We will do a thank you card of us on our wedding day. Not sure if we will hold a sign saying thank you yet or not.

We opted for a picture on the back of the card for our thank yous.

I didn't include a picture of us on our Thank You cards. Simply matching the invitation style was the best way to show consistency.

Likely yes- depending on the turn around time from our photog.

We're either going to do thank-you cards that match our invitations or a picture from the wedding.

I don't think we'll be doing a photos on ours.. but I could always change my mind.

We’ll prob do a postcard from vista print with a picture of us from the wedding. Like others said, a nice memento from the wedding 😊

Picture! We don't have a huge guest list so we will be taking a group picture with everyone and that will go on the card.

I used a picture! We had a banner that said "Thank You" on it and took it with us on our wedding day. Our photographer took a few photos of us with the banner and then sent them the next day so we could order our Thank You cards. Worked beautifully!

I didnt do any pictures for my save the dates and also qont be for my invitations, but I really want to have a picture of us for our thank you cards. I think it makes it so much more personal with something like this!

My friends did this. They took one of the sneak peak photos from their wedding. and made a postcard on vistaprint (go under marketing materials vs wedding and its usually cheaper). between that and a promo code. She got them at a steal. and no envelope cost

We’re going to include a picture. We are taking group pictures with all our guests after the wedding and will print off a copy to include in each thank you note!

We bought these. I wanted something to match our decor/theme a bit... I got the box from amazon the other day, and it was like an explosion of glitter. I'm not sorry about it either. hahah.

Perhaps a picture if we can get them in a postcard type way, if not then a simple thank you card should suffice.

I think we will decide this closer... I don't really feel like spending another $100-200 on thank you cards just to include a picture... so maybe I'll get plain cards and do hand written notes, and include the link to our wedding photos, so people can search them.

The only wedding thank you card I ever received was a picture (and it was for a wedding I couldn't attend!), and I thought it was a neat idea, so I think that's what we'll be doing too.

Our plan is to use a standard thank you card. We're considering including a picture from the wedding as an insert, but aren't sure.

I prefer thank you cards that include a wedding picture as it's a way to utilize them, and they come off more personal.

I love the idea of using one your wedding photos as your thank you card. We used one of our engagement photos for our invites, so our thank you cards will look similar but with a different photo.

I’m thinking of doing picture as we are having an unplugged ceremony (fingers crossed). So this way we can share a picture from the ceremony with everyone.
