    We will see I would love to but distance is a major factor for many of our guests. We haven't planned for one so no stress at this point.

    The rehearsal dinner is traditionally held the night before the wedding, or some couples choose to hold the event two nights before the wedding. The ultimate goal is to relieve some prewedding tension and make everyone feel comfortable with the upcoming nuptials, while not upstaging the main event.

    I will probably do a casual dinner at a chinese restaurant or something. Not going to do anything fancy like the movies. To be honest, I don't even know what the rehersal dinner is for! Could someone elaborate? Is it just a thank-you dinner?

    We had such a great time at the rehearsal dinner! It was so nice to get everyone together after the rehearsal and before the wedding. We went to an amazing restaurant that had a private room.

    The only problem was that the rehearsal dinner went later than we expected so we didn't get to set up our reception decorations and had to do it the morning of the wedding. But we still had a great time and made it work!
