The colours from the invite takes into the decor set up. Our baker did a great job of making our cake.

I chose my colours before I really started looking at buying decor etc second hand. Neither of them are popular colours at the moment so I have to make all my own stuff. If that is fine with your sister, than I would tell her to go for it! But, if she wants to buy off people, she should see what's available on buy and sell sites before choosing her colours.

I originally wanted purple and turquoise as those are my favourite colours but I fell in love with the purple and foil gold invitations on Minted. We both loved this invitation as it reminded us of the stars and the first time we spent time together under the stars! So we picked purple and gold.

We are going with blush, cream, gold and rose gold.

This is our inspiration! We changed our colours about 4 times, but we finally agreed on this pallet.

Our inspiration for a September wedding

We are having a tough time deciding, we like both and just can't decide which we prefer. We are getting married in a barn so it's a rustic country theme.

Grey, burgundy and champagne with touches of rose gokd

Winter Alberta wonderland. We are having cowboy boots for reception. Dark blues, sliver, and grey

These weren't my inspo pics since my wedding is long past, but this was my color pallet. We even had a lot of paisley, and I wore blue Chucks for the after party.

Some of our colours were based off the invitation (below) and then there were red elements as well as that is my favourite colour.
