Should brides have a clutch?

Megan, on August 7, 2019 at 09:25 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 11
My wedding is in less than 2 months and I’m just wondering if I should purchase a clutch for my big day. I won’t be having any bridesmaids to carry anything for me so I’m thinking it might be a good idea? But I also don’t want it to be a hassle and worry about it all night. It would just be for things like lipstick touch ups, Advil, money, tissues etc. Is it necessary to carry a cell phone? I feel lost without having anything on me but if it’s not needed and easier to not have one then I’m ok with it! Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

My dress has pockets Smiley xd

But even the pockets can't fit everything. I would say that you could have a little bride bag and have your parents or somebody close who is going to be there with you all the time (other than your FH) that can carry it with them. At the reception just keep it at the table!

The clutch is something that can be kept in the room unless you do need anything important from it beforehand of walking down the aisle. Just have yourself be beautiful and clutch free enjoying your day.

Some of the brides may carry items they will use and some may not. Its best to do what's your choice.

I didn't have a clutch. I gave my cell phone to a friend and she took pictures throughout the night (it was nice to have pictures to look at on our honeymoon!). I also had a small bag that I hid behind our backdrop with a few items. I didn't end up needing them but they were there, just in case, and I didn't have to worry about carrying anything.

I had a clutch. I didn't keep it with me all night but I had one just in case. I kept tip money, my phone and lip touch up in it.. It spent most of the time in the bridal suite but I'm still glad u had it just in case.

I'm going to have a big tote bag in the bridal suite of everything I need and a smaller clutch for lipstick/cellphone/tissues that my mom will have on her. I don't want to be responsible for my clutch throughout the day.

My sister had one and didnt use it once. she kept all her crap in the pockets her dress had but even then she rarely used them (besides smokes and once in a while her cell phone). im going to have a bag with stuff but its going to be a bigger bag because i have stuff for my 2 service dogs, anything i might need (for example my inhaler), and then a bunch of stuff for my fiance who has autism. im just going to keep it under the head table so its accessible but not in the way

I have been on the bridge of if I should or not. I prop won't and will just keep my phone or whatever I need near by. Honestly won't need to carry much around and can keep behind bar if want to keep it safe

I've actually got a huge tote bag with all my important things/emergency items. But I'm making one of my bridal party carry it for me. Dont want to ruin that bridal image. Smiley winking

I’m not going to get one. I won’t have time to carry it around and keep track where I’m putting it.

ill just keep a bag in my bridal suite and if I need something I’ll go and get it then.

I am contemplating the same thing. We have a bridal room at our venue, and it is super close to the head table. So I will only have a small clutch to keep at the head table with me if I end up bringing one. I will most likely keep my phone in the bridal room locked up, or have it at the table for some pictures with guests throughout the night.

You could also hand off your phone to a family member to hold onto as well. And if your FH is wearing a suit, have him keep a pack of tissues in his picket, and your lipstick lol. I always hand mine off to my FH when I don't have pockets and don't want to carry anything
