You are way ahead of us! Our date is Sept.16, in Lunenburg, NS. We have a venue and photographer booked save the dates ordered and invite list finalized. Our venue includes tables, chairs, flatware & plates, plus has a nice rustic chic aesthetic, and also includes accommodation and getting ready spaces for wedding party and close family, a bar setup (we can provide alcohol so that saves on markup - just need to hire a bartender), catering kitchen and outdoor fire pit. We have almost finalized caterer and DJ. We don't have a wedding planner and there is a lot to organize but luckily I'm a planner type and there's still lots of time. I am considering hiring a day-of coordinator to keep everything on schedule though. It takes a lot more time to organize everything ourselves but we're trying to save money where we can because it sure does add up!!

Wow! Seems like you've made a lot of progress! I barely hired a wedding planner (a friend of a friend of my fiance, so she charged us a very good price)!
Did you get a dress?

I’m not sure if I’m behind the ball or not, but September 16, 2023! I’ve booked venue for ceremony & reception, DJ, caterer, photographer, officiant and hair and make up. Our guest list is finalized and save the dates are sent out and I have begun trying on dresses but nothing ordered.


I’m thinking about maybe looking into a Day Of Coordinator to ease some stress, and need to look into the small things like Decor and flowers! 🤍

I got everything done except for the cake, bridesmaid dresses other then that everything planned

Mine is September 23, 2023 and things are going smoothly so far!
We have our save the dates, venue for ceremony and venue for reception, guestlist, dress ordered and our officiant!

I am August 2023, and quite honestly I am doing quite well! We are doing a micro wedding in Banff and I have booked ceremony location (as well as the permits needed to get married in a national park), officiant, coordinator, music for ceremony, photographer, flowers, hair and make-up, rentals, accommodations and a restaurant for the dinner/party for afterwards! On top of that, I also have a photographer for the next evening to do golden hour photos at Lake Louise and other places in the Banff area. I just said yes to the dress on Friday and I am so excited about it that I can throw up LOL. Last few things to do this summer and before we go on our first trip together this October is send out the Save the Dates and book our cake!

I am thinking though of getting a videographer for like an hour for the ceremony! I would love to have that most important part of the wedding on video. To forever cherish my father walking me down the isle and my soon to be husband's face lighting up when he sees me for the first time!

I don't know yet, I will check some out! See what their prices are.
