I am not a huge fan of Satin, so we are renting just the basic polyester!

I never had chair covers and the venue supplied the table clothes and napkins. with there being kids at the reception i figured this was an expense we did not need.

Satin is nice, yet seems a bit slippery. Polyester stays better and gives a better hold for gripping.

This is one place where I skimped out for the sake of my budget, my venue had a lot of color choices for linens and I was able to get some nice looking tablecloths and napkins from them, but if I had had an unlimited budget I would have loved to get some sequin overlays for my tables. Does your caterer or venue rent these or have a connection you can use?

I would rent them if I were you unless you plan to keep them and use them for something else after the wedding.

Both table cloths and seat covers are rent-able, that's what I'm doing.

I have been planning through linentablecloth
They are USA and I'm in Canada but my mom will get them in Montana and bring them up 😊 cheapest I've seen so far. Even with the conversion for me.

I'm sticking with polyester since they're included with my venue. But, I absolutely love the look of satin!
My friend had to rent her tablecloths and chair covers and went with polyester.
