Rsvps

Victoria, on December 16, 2017 at 21:12 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 12

I'm a bit of an enviro-geek, and the thought of RSVPs and envelopes that will possibly never be used makes me cringe.

What's everyones opinions about just including a website link?

I am only doing the website link, won't be doing rsvp card with envelope! I had a wedding I went to and this is how it worked. Was really neat got to see upcoming events and engagement photos all that on the website when rsvped to the event!

I didn't use the Wedding Wire website for anything other than the community and planning tools.

Did you attach your google form RSVP to th wedding wire website? Did you create a new page other than the RSVP one?

I think most common is probably vista print.

We just included our wedding website link on our invitation and everyone RSVP'd on our site using a form we created through Google. It was super simple and enviro-friendly.

We did the traditional RSVP and majority of our guests either called us, text us, or emailed us that they are coming. So it was a waste of stamps and money on RSVPs.

    Definitely go the email route!

We did our RSVPs through our wedding website. We printed the website URL directly on the invitation under the following "Please RSVP by June 1st, 2017 on our wedding website: ... ".
We didn't want to deal with replies being lost in the mail, arriving late, etc., and it was super easy to just send an email reminder with a link to the RSVP page.

Yeah I was thinking of that, but all of our non tech savvy guests (aka old people) are family so we can just call them anyway lol.

All for it! That's what we're doing. One thought that someone else brought up was that there are still people that are not very computer savvy. If you know of some on your list, you could include a phone number for them to RSVP
