Picking up my dress.

Brett, on November 15, 2019 at 11:54 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 7
So just got the call that my dress is in at the shop where I bought it. Travelling the 2.5 hrs on Monday to pick it up. My question is do I take my shoes and all that with me to try on with the dress even though it’s not a fitting. Just a quick try on to make sure everything is as I remember it being.

I didn’t have my shoes yet so I didn’t take them. If you want to get a quote for alterations from the boutique, take your shoes otherwise they are not necessary.

It's an option if you already have your shoes picked out. If not I think it would be fine as the shoes are more for the fittings anyway Smiley smile

You can if you want - it helps get your feet used to them. But you don't need to since it's not a fitting

It doesn't hurt - for all you know you could see if you by chance don't need it hemmed at all, but you could try it on at home with the shoes to check that.

I would just go to pick it up and not worry about the shoes but I always lose things so knowing me I would lose my pair of shoes or wreck them somehow!

I would bring them, or at least have them in the car. It doesn't hurt to bring them along.

I wouldn’t. I brought mine with me but didn’t put my shoes on, they really just want you to make sure it’s the right dress.

Save your shoes for the fitting.
