Over the water bungalows: maldives, bora bora, jamaica?

Hi everyone!
It's a dream of mine to honeymoon in an over the wate bungalow/villa!
But I'm trying to size up somewhere that we could even afford!
I've been looking at the Lily beach resort in Maldives- and it is breathtaking!
Just wondering if anyone has gone to any of these locations as a honeymoon or trip, or know of any other great resorts to keep an eye out for!
Help would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!

I have been to Jamaica and there lots of great samdal resorts to choose from. Also i have been to a villa too which is nice. Thats an option to go with.

Bora Bora is also beautiful as the water view is your way to go for a cabin set on the portside. Only way to get there is a boat.

Maldives i haven't heard of before.

I have never been personally. However, there is a overwater all inclusive bunglow you can go to in the carribbeans. It is the sandals royal carribbean. Flight time from Canada to there will definitely be lot shorter and economical.
