Our song

Well Phil's and my taste in music is quite divergent, so this has been tricky. I was going to pick "Your My Best Friend" by Queen, because I choke up EVERY time I hear it and he doesn't mind Queen. They aren't Metallica, but Queen is ok in his books. However, when we were discussing dance lessons with a professional they advised that was not an easy song, and Phil suggested At Last by Etta James, which I LOVE (and is the exact opposite of what I would expect him to pick)!!!! After all neither of us are spring chickens and this is our first wedding, so it is kind of perfect for us.

It's funny because we have a lot of songs in a way. Especially songs we don't like (like anything classic rock) we will be in a store and some song we mutually hate will come on and we are like "It's our song!" Lol. But really our song would be Must Have Done Something Right by Relient K because of our first date or Forever and Always by Parachute because of our engagement

500 Miles (gonna be) by the Proclaimers. We have fun singing the chorus back and forth to each other. We also enjoy The Bard's Song by Blind Guardian, a nice acoustic song

We've got a lot of songs that we've called ours over the years but our favourite right now and the one we're using for our first dance is "perfect" by Ed Sheeran. It describes our situation perfectly
