Online or IRL? - Shopping for decor items

Joey, on September 10, 2018 at 09:05 Posted in Plan a wedding 0 19

When purchasing your escort cards, table numbers, candles, mason jars, signs, and other decor items, do you do your shopping online, or do you head out to craft stores and vintage shops? Did you get most of your decor items online or IRL?

Almost everything is online! But I do love 50% off at Micheal's!

Both, but online is definitely more convenient because there's items I just can't find anywhere in stores.

So far everything is online however I haven't picked all the decor, what I have planned will have to be done when we arrive before the wedding!

90% of my purchases so far have been IRL, I need to see them. I bought like 2 small things online because they were on clearance.

I haven't purchased anything yet, but I think it's going to be a mix of online and IRL.

I find my ideas for decor online, the overall look for DIY projects, but I'll be purchasing the items mostly in person. I want to be able to see/feel items, put them together, look at them together, etc...

I'd say half and half... some online deals but also like to scour antique and second hand stores for cool finds!

Forgot to add that most of the décor was ordered online too and saved half the price due to not receiving the items or late and refunded the money.

I prefer online and vistaprint as my invitations knowing it was the same design as the Thank You cards and colour of the menu cards. The choices of patterns and colours allow you to choose what you want and like. Add texts if needed to the card except for personalized names unless customized by the company.

I like to go look in stores and then I’ll take a look and compare online prices for similar items. There’s just something about physically seeing them that makes a big difference.

Online...either through Amazon, Ebay, AliExpress or Taobao...I find their pricing to be cheaper than retail stores!

Online! I don't want to go to stores just to ship the stuff I bought down to my parents lol. I have had them do some IRL shopping for me though.

Both : If the item is not available online, then I'd buy it in-person.

A combination of both, some thing from etsy, amazon, even buying off people through facebook. But we also bought things in person, collected items while on walks and my decorator also helped with some items.

Both! But I tend to do more in person because I see it and buy it, not purposely look for it

For me, it was done mostly in person. Little items were purchased online, but signs etc were in person.

Again online... this time because for the amount of guests that I have - you can never find enough of one thing for the wedding. I need to buy in bulk and you can't always do that in the store.
