What's your preferred method for keeping in touch with your vendors? Do you send lots of emails and texts, or do you set face-to-face meetings? Does it vary by vendor? Online or IRL?

    Being in australia & my wedding in Calgary, all communication has been over email/facetime/skype!!

    Come december when we arrive we will meet with people in person Smiley smile

    Online, once they were booked. I work regular business hours so email was so much simpler!

    Online mainly aside from a few phone calls! Again I like the paper trails!

    Almost all online. I haven't phoned any vendors... the one DJ who called me made me uncomfortable. I met 2 photographers in person for interviews before selecting one, but communication afterwards was electronic.

    It's just so much easier to communicate through e-mails now for multiples vendors. Also with e-signatures for contracts.

    Email and online correspondence so you have the time and date stamp when things were said!

    75% IRL and 25% online. Phone calls were made most of the time to confirm details and signatures for the contracts. Online was to send over the signed copies to get their signature in return and final details for the day.

    Mostly online communication since we are 18 hours from our wedding destination. I do go visit my parents a bit and will schedule vendor meetings then.

    We live 3 provinces West of our wedding location, so closer to 95% of our communications have been via email and scheduled phone calls.

    95% of communication has been through email with some phone calls and texts as well. We live 5.5 hours away from where we are getting married and all of our vendors are local to our venue, so in-person has not really been an option.

    Used to be in person when booking but since we moved everything is mostly online.

    It vary's by vendor but for now we have done most of everything online/ through technology.

    Venue was first by email and phone calls and then in person.

    Food was by email and phone call.

    Alcohol was in person as it was through friends of ours that have their own company.

    Officiant was in person as it's my FH's uncle.

    Photographer was in person as it's one of my friends from work.
