My favourite wedding colours

We choose black and gold for our theme as we liked the colors and wanted to have a more glamourous wedding. Originally we chose black and teal and decided that the black and gold is much better.

I like what you posted Emilie! Our colours were charcoal and purple.

We will be using this palette for our wedding and I wouldnt have it any other way. I love burgundy, gold and navy blue together!

I agree with you about blue being overdone for weddings! I think you colours will look lovely and elegant.

We are going to have some decorations in the colours of our invitations (navy blue and pale soft pink) and some in ivory and burlap as we are having a rustic wedding. We will wear the following colours: ivory (me), gray (FH), black (groomsmen) and red (bridesmaids). I think it will all work together very nicely in the end as long as one colour isn't too overwhelming.

Purple with gold accents! My FH and I decided against blue because it is done often at weddings. We ended up deciding on purple as I found a lot of ideas I liked in purple and he was on board with it! After looking at dresses and then I found mine with the gold detailing, I thought how great would purple with gold accents be and they work so well together!
