Most Likely To Wear White

Joey, on October 9, 2018 at 10:05 Posted in Wedding fashion 0 23

We're playing a just for fun game of " Most Likely To " to find out who might make a faux pas on your wedding day.

Will your mother in law try to don a wedding dress of her own? Will a friend try to upstage everyone with a flashy or risqué outfit? Who do you think is most likely to wear white - or another scene-stealing outfit - to your wedding?

Not sure that anyone else will wear white. Our wedding is mid October so I think I am clear of this mishap

FMIL, once again. I feel like she is literally the only person who make the conscious decision to wear white, knowing I'm the one getting married. She's done it at other peoples' weddings, who's to say she wouldn't do it at her own son's?

I don't think any one will wear white half because of the time of year. It will be in March so I imagine there will be a lot of darker colours

I don't think anyone will, but I have a few people I know who may wear bright red... My future mother in law, for example...

Normally, my fiance's sister. She owns one dress that's white with flowers and refuses to go shopping for another dress. My mom DID try to buy a dress that was white with gold lace on it early into the process and was roundly shouted down.

My fiancee! And me of course. I don't think anyone else would though. If my dad's fiancee was invited, she sure would but that ain't happening!

Well, I'm cheating a little since my wedding already happened!

My mother-in-law had a floral dress, the base was white, but I would say more floral than white.

I don't think anyone would...Most of the people who would do it for the attention are also the type to be sticklers for etiquette and mortified if they did something taboo.

One guest of all wore white and not pretty too. Low cut and thin strap. The pictures with her in it didn't look elegant. It was commented by one person and true.

Oh god, I hope no one will do this! I seriously think it will be one of FH's friends wives who might do this tho.

Probably on my FH's side. I can think of a few people that hold grudges and like attention haha.

Of course! I will be sure to include the fact that off-white and outfits that are mainly white with designs are discouraged! lol Normally I would consider a wine spiller to be alcohol abuse - but for this instance I am okay with it!

Lol probably something along the lines of "Shame Shirt" on the front and "I wore WHITE to Kael and Tori's wedding Oct. 5 2019"

All of our guests would be good sports about it and actually love the fact that they would get a keepsake Smiley tongue

For a fall wedding, I'm anticipating most guests to be in darker colours.

I'm also hoping people know better than to wear white to a wedding that's not their own.

We also have it stated in our wedding wet not to wear white or anything near white (ivory, champagne..etc..) so if anyone decides they want to go ahead and do it anyway (which I highly doubt) we have a designated red wine spiller 😂

You should definitely make them black, size XXL, and say "I Wore White to a Wedding and Now I Have to Wear This T-Shirt".... Smiley laugh

I don't think anyone in my family would wear white... especially not in January... but there may be an aunt or two who would were "off-white" with a pattern and say it doesn't count... Haha. Whatever.... I wouldn't rage over it, people will be giving them enough judging looks to shame them for me Smiley xd

    Wow! Shirts! That say what?

I don’t know who’s mostly to wear white...we’re aiming for a small intimate guest count so I figure no one will...but to be honest as I begin the dress shopping process, I’m not even sure if I will wear white🤷🏾‍♀️...so we’ll see how this turns out in a few months!

I have a feeling this won't happen, but you never know. Since our wedding is in the Fall, I am hoping everyone will do darker colours than lighter ones

I honestly hope people understand this rule by now... I feel more bad for them if they do wear it I feel like they will get some sass and stares from everyone there haha!

I don't think that this would happen - but I will state on my wedding website that I will be having shirts made for those who wear white. It is so inappropriate. It's like wearing bold colours to a funeral - unless the deceased requested it.
