Metallic Bridesmaids Dresses: Into It or Over It?

Love it our grandmothers are wearing silver

I think they are so pretty. Its up to my MOH if she wants a silver dress or not. I love the pink gold but it's not one of my colours.

They look nice, but over it. Not my thing.

I'm obsessed. I was going to go full sequin but I thought it would irritate the girls armpits a bit much. so mine are sequin detailed and i LOVE!!!

Not a sequin person at all so those wouldn't really be my thing. Metallic when done right I'm here for but its a pretty bold look for a wedding- would have to fit the style of the day.

I love the look of them, on thin people. I haven’t seen one that wasn’t super clingy and I would never put something on my bridesmaids that would be clingy because it won’t work on at least one of them and I’ll be damned if she doesn’t feel good on my wedding day too.

Over it!! I love metallic and sequin but that's exactly why I won't have it on my girls. As the bride I can't have anyone upstaging me so any bling or shine should come from me!

Into it for the look but I wouldn't choose it for my wedding. You don't want the attention taken away from the bride even though they are beautiful dresses!

I love it! I think it is a trend that won't feel dated in 20 years. However... I think it also depends on the type of wedding your having. A rustic barn wedding might not flow as nice as a fancy Gatsby theme.

Over it, unless it was New Years. I feel like metallic at a New Years wedding is cool!

Into it. Love them... when they are good quality. My sister bought her MOH dress yesterday (first dress of the bridal party! WOOHOO!) and the top half over the bust is sequined.

She tried on a few full sequined ones (because they come in navy now at David's Bridal)... but the tight fit over the stomach wasn't the best fit.

Nope! I love them but they shall not take away the Bride's thunder! Lmao, they are just too sparkly to have so many of them. I would rather have the MOB or MOG wear them.

Looove these! I so badly wanted gold bridesmaids dresses... except all the nice ones we found were crazy expensive, so we went another way!

I love metallic dresses if they are simple (like the second example). If they get patterns I start to find them a bit overwhelming though.
