Let Them Eat Cake! - One Flavour vs Several Flavours

Doing one small cake and cupcakes. I'm pretty sure I want all one flavour but that is something that could change.

I think we are just going to have one flavour.

We’re simple, chocolate and vanilla. One layer chocolate and one vanilla. Three tiers of delicious.

We are doing red velvet!

One flavour, just makes it simpler when serving

We are only going to have 2 tiers so probably just one.

Our cake is going to be 3 tiers with each tier being a different flavour to be inclusive of everyone.

I'm into a smaller cake of 1 flavour and an assortment of other cupcakes in treats in many different flavors!

I'm not sure what we will do yet, but I love the idea of multiple flavours... In separate tiers, not all in one cake!!! *Although, a top layer/bottom layer complimenting flavours is a nice way to get to mini-cakes in one slice!

We are having a 2 tier cake, small, top level for saving, bottom essentially just for cutting (only a 6" round)... we are doing complimentary mini cupcakes, 3 different flavours: Lemon w/Lemon Buttercream, Coconut w/Coconut Buttercream, and Red Velvet w/Vanilla Buttercream. We will pick our favourite for the top tier, and probably do lemon for the bottom tier.

One flavour keeps things simple

I think one flavour throughout would be better.

But what about PIE though.
I'd probably have a 2 tier cake, with two flavors.

I'd rather have 1 flavor throughout.

We did several flavours since the layers don't get the same colour in the middle.

We are having 4 layers and our baker said they can all be something different.. the more choices for us and our guests the better!

I think we may have a couple flavours, but not several.

I think I would have tried to do several flavours if we'd had cake.

We will have a 3-tiered 2 flavoured cake, we will be saving our top tier so we made sure that was our favourite flavour, which will match the larger tier as well.

Tier 1 & 3 - Vanilla with a chocolate raspberry filling

Tier 2 - Marble cake with a chocolate pastry cream filling

Ours is one tier, so we’re doing one flavor - carrot cake 😍

If I can eat them separate or they complement each other then I don't see why not to put different flavours throughout.

Several. If it’s two tiers or more, I say pick as many flavours as you can lol
