I know we are all so excited to get married, but I haven’t seen much about the grooms and their outfits!
Does your groom (or bride) have their outfit yet?
What are the colours?
My FH is wearing a light grey suit. We are pairing it with brown shoes and a belt, a dusty rose bow tie and suspenders. And to throw in a little bit of ‘us’, he is wearing dark blue socks with trees and bears (that happen to fit perfectly with the colour scheme). I just so happened to find them the other day and HAD to get them.

    We just picked out suits on Friday! My FH is wearing a dark grey tux with a royal blue tie and pocket square. Our groomsmen and bestwoman will be wearing light grey tuxes with teal ties/pocket squares. the bestwoman is wearing a purple tie/pocket square.

    This exactly!! I told him that I don't want to go suit shopping with him and that the first time I will see him all suited up is at the end of the aisle.

    My fiance will be wearing this blue paisley suit jacket with blue dress pants. I think hes going to go with a black shirt and bow tie.

    I think we're going with a navy suit with burgundy ties and FH will likely wear a grey vest to stand out. I reeeally like the tweed/wool textures but we'll see. Brown leather and maybe some fun socks if FH wants. I'm hoping I can get them to start looking late this summer or early in the fall...

    Yup. We were both born and raised in farm/ranch families and we are continuing that lifestyle so for us it was the only way to go lol. Our wedding is outside on my parents farm where I grew up Smiley smile

    Maybe there are some independent stores around your area? I find they seem to care a little more and provide better service.

    Facebook wedding buy and sell sites I always find great for local suggestions. Just throw it out there, there may be something you haven't stumbled across yet.


    I find the boys are almost more difficult than the ladies sometimes haha.

    My cowboy is wearing a white shirt with a champagne coloured vest and a mint green bow tie. He is wearing a very dark wash jean (more of a ‘dressy’ jean if you will lol) with boots and his dark brown hat. The boys will be similar but with more mocha coloured vests and regular mint green ties Smiley smile I don’t have pics but this was the inspiration pic lol

    Too bad! My FH was set on getting a custom suit but it’s well out of our budget for him and his best man.

    he hates Moore’s, Tip Top and all the other rental companies. It’s quite the chore finding him something he likes!

    Thanks Kelsie! Unfortunately we are renting from an independent local store so I won't be much help to you.

    They are awesome, and have everything, in every size to actually try on in store.

    I was a little disappointed in Derks and Tip Top when we went at the lack of selection, and the lack of ability to actually see anything before hand on him.

    I think that would terrify me if I didn't know what my FH was choosing lol! I know he has pretty good style, but I would be scared about all of those decisions. It's good you had your mom and sister go to support him.

    He wanted his suit to be a surprise (just like my dress), so I have no idea what it looks like. I have a general idea about colours: burgundy tie, navy or charcoal three-piece suit (not sure which). My mom and sister went shopping with him, and they assure me he is going to look sharp!

    My FH is getting a custom three piece brown tweed suit made and he's so excited about it! He's planning on pairing it with a forest green tie but hasn't decided on a shirt colour yet, he just knows he doesn't want white.

    Brown is his absolute favourite colour so custom was the only way to go for his suit (you really just can't find rentals that aren't the standard black, navy or grey) I've never seen him in a full suit but I'm guessing he's going to want to wear this one all the time.

    My FH will be wearing a light blue vest and a light blue tie with a white paisley pattern. His tux will be black. Unfortunately Moore’s didn’t have all the pieces to try on so I had to use my imagination.

    My husband at the time fought me about his outfit and wanted to get his. We did so and he was happy to see the outfit he loved and I chose his shoes and hat. His is the white outfit (top) with the white/red stones shoes and red hat (pagri) (below suits). His suit was bought 2 weeks ahead of time and the bow tie that we both wore the same. (bottom)
