    Skipped it, we had conversations with everyone to let them know about the date. We just wanted things to be personal

    Skipped. We’ll be a total of 10 months engaged, so we didn’t see the point to send save the dates at that stage.

    We did save the dates to make sure people didn't book anything else for that date and could request the time off in advance.

    Keep. I find they are a very useful way to get people starting to think about making plans for your wedding. It is also the first spark of excitement.

    Keep! A friend of mine is a graphic designer so she did them for us, we actually just got them a few weeks ago and plan on sending them out after new years.

    We kept it. We wanted to give lots of notice to the out-of-town guests

    Kept, we sent out online save the dates well in advance just wanted everyone special to us to save the date!

    Kept it! We needed to let our out of town guests know early when the date was so they could plan travel accordingly.
    But we sent them out over email so they didnt cost a dime.
