Keep or Skip: Engagement photos?

Skipping - it was an added cost with our photographer and something that neither of us really cared about, we have tons of pictures of us together anyway!

We're taking engagement photos !!

Skipping. We're just not that kind of couple. Plus its another added expense.

Keep! The shoot was a great way to bond with our photographer and to figure out how to relax in front of the camera in preparation for the big day!

We kept it only because it was a complimentary add-in with our photographer. If it had been an extra cost, we would have skipped.

Skip - not really us and we didn't want to add to the cost....

Sort of keep? The moment we actual got engaged was in the middle of a photo shoot

Skipping because saddly its out of budget..plus we already have tons of photos of our adventures thoughout the years 😁

We did engagement photos last fall.

Skip. We're just having wedding photos done.

Keep. We had ours about a month ago. My FH said it was the best shoot... so much kissing hehe. Plus we now have all these wonderful photos of just us.

We got photos done a few months before we got engaged and just use those as our photos

Keep! We've never done a photoshop before so it was really fun to plan. Also, you get an idea of how to pose and feel comfortable in front of the camera. It also helps build your relationship with the photographer and you get a sense of how they work and if you like their style, direction etc.

We are definitely skipping!!!

Skipping them on a tight budget

I'm for it but my FH doesn't like photos to begin with I'm hoping he will come around to the idea though. Pictures last forever.

We did engagement pictures. They turned out amazing and we will be using some at our wedding. Engagement shoots are a great way to get comfortable with your photographer and to practise what poses work best for you both.

We did engagement photos! I am so happy we did, because it made us a bit more aware and prepared for how the day of the wedding will be, and we became more comfortable with getting photos taken and we built a relationship with the photographer!

It was offered as part of our photography package so we're doing them.
