Jack and jill

Hi Everyone,
We are looking to be married in July and currently just trying to determine what to spend on the Jack and Jill rental space. We live in the Durham area and need a space to fit 150 currently the lowest price we have found that will let us serve our own alcohol is $500 which still seems expensive. Any suggestions on ways of saving money or venues that are cheaper would be greatly appreciated. We also looked at doing it outside but that's an even higher cost and we would be doing it mid May. As well any game suggestions or auction item suggestions would be nice too, we are just figuring things out as we go.

So you can do it at the junction in oshawa.... you don't serve your own alcohol but you make the money off the alcohol sales and for food you can use riley's and they will give you platters!! My friend did hers there Smiley smile

We are doing ours at the end of May , we asked a friend of ours who has a big empty barn so we are able to do everything we want ... have our own bar etc ... I dont know if this is an option for you but something to look into if someone even wants to rent out their barn to you for that event .. makes things super cheap
