    I never thought my ring would be custom made.
    My engagement ring was a non-traditional custom order off Etsy, and it looks like we are heading in that direction for our wedding bands too!

    Would be rose gold! I grew up ONLY wearing silver or while gold (mostly due to allergies), but ever since getting engaged, I've switched all of my jewelry up for yellow gold or rose gold.

    I never thought my ring would actually be diamond!

    I'd tell my FH that I don't need the money spent on a ring, but he advocated that the price tag was worth it!

    I never thought that my ring would be such a conversation starter! Everywhere I go where they stamp your hand or even just at the store when I go to hand cash to the cashier I get so many compliments!
