A dress! I fully expected to rock a suit but I ended up surprising myself

I never thought I would wear a capped-sleeve dress, but almost all of the ones I've loved so far have been this style! I used to be a "mermaid, sweetheart, strapless" kinda gal... now I'm all about the sleeves, A-lines, and v-necks!

I never thought I would wear heels

I never thought I would wear a ball gown dress. I thought a-line would have been my first choice. I tried a ball gown dress just to say I tried one on and it turned out to be the dress of my dreams.

I never thought I'd wear a strapless gown! I always wanted some kind of interesting strap or sleeve, but I fell IN LOVE with a strapless and I don't wanna change a single thing

I never thought I’d get a blush pink dress! Couldn’t imagine another one now that I have it though!

I never thought I would ever wear a 5 piece suit. One time only that looked so good and something that will be sitting for a long time until it gets worn again.

2 veils! I couldn't decide between 2 different styles so I'm switching them between ceremony and reception.

I never thought I would wear a garter. The dress and veil were always on my list but I didn’t want a garter. I ended up finding one in my husband’s hockey teams colours so I wore it as a surprise.

Such high heels for my wedding shoes. I pictured myself going with flats or a very low heel, but I ended up falling in love with a pair of traditional high heels.

I have been very self conscious all my life, so having something that is so form fitting was not the first thing that I wanted. But I fell in love as soon as I put the dress on and was determined to look amazing and feel amazing in it!

I never thought I would wear a ballgown again! My HighSchool Graduation dress was a ballgown and that was only in 2015 so not only did I not think I would ever wear a wedding dress so soon - but I really didn't think I would wear a ballgown again! I went into it thinking I wanted anything BUT a ballgown since I had already been there and done that 3 years prior to looking for dresses!

I never thought I'd wear something so formal. I am really not one for dressing up. But I thought I'm only going to get married once so might as well go all out. And I love my dress! But I am still doing converse shoes with it haha
