How to transport guests from Hotel to venue and back.

Hotels usually have shuttles.

Try bus companies near by. Thinking of grey coach buses type.

I was thinking of the school bus idea but I am going to look into a van idea or cab

Cab companies may give you a deal but definitely look into a school bus or another type of bus for transportation.

We hired a local transportation company and had a school bus do one pickup at the hotel where most guests were staying and 2 different evening drop offs back at the hotel.

I heard that you can rent a school bus and as long as you can find someone to drive it (with the proper license of course), it could be pretty sheep.

School bus. I've only heard of people using school buses to transport guests, since there are so many. You could also try renting a van and having a DD drive people, but that would probably take multiple trips. Or multiple vans.

See if the hotel has a shuttle that runs to your venue location. If your venue is the local event space they may provide this service included in your reservation. (similar to taxi's and limos waiting for an event or club to let out)

My cousin did shuttles using school busses for her wedding. There was another wedding happening that day as well, and the guests were at the same hotel as us and they were also using school busses.
