How many venues did you tour?

Researched a crazy amount and met with three.

Researched quite a few, met with one.

I researched like crazy online, but we only went to our one and only venue. We fell in love right away.

I think we only looked at 3 and booked 2

We looked at two venues! We were comparing prices off-reserve versus on-reserve!

It seems we chose the same venue as you though it was an outdoor ceremony for us. We were one of 3 couples towards the end to get married there and such a beautiful spot that my husband knew about.

We looked at 4 places in person. The first one would have been ideal but it was WAAY over budget, then the next 2 had pros but more cons. Finally our 4th one encompasses most of the things we liked about all the other venues and was actually less than expected so it worked perfect! Now we are 120 days away and so excited!

One! My husband is a huge golfer, and he wanted to get married at his favourite golf course... I didn't complain because it was gorgeous

We looked at 2 Venues. We decided on the 1st venue at The Kempenfest Center where my Mom and I go on scrapbook retreats. We did the tour with our Families & were told we'd need to put a deposit down in January. January came & The Kempenfelt center announced that they were closing. It took us a good Year & a half to even think about looking anywhere else. My Mom, FMIL and I decided to go to a bridal show. It was located at The Barrie Country Club. As soon as we walked in and saw the venue with mock up tables and a balcony, I couldn't stop crying. I knew we'd found our Venue. We did a Family Wedding tour there the following week and then we picked our date and paid deposit 🤗 The 1st pic is after the Wedding tour with our Parents. The 2nd pic is where our ceremony will be.

We looked at a TON of places... I can't even remember how many now... The challenge was finding a place that had a waterfall that worked for us for the ceremony and then finding a reception site close by.

I have visited a total of 3 venues before I settled for the one 😍 sometimes community rooms are overlooked but my goodness sometimes they offer the most bang for your buck.We will be using their round tables for our ceremony 🙂

We "toured" one but knew from the photographs and reviews that our heart was already set on it.

We toured 3. The first wouldn't send us pricing without a tour and ended up being too expensive (surprise surprise). My FH loved the second and I was torn so we ended up going with his choice

I priced out a few but had been in all of them previously except for the one we chose. It was the closest to our location

One, we knew it was the one once we visited it.

None, since I was doing it remotely. I checked pictures, compared prices, read reviews and booked. Only had the chance to check it out in person half a year later after I put the down payment.

We only toured one as well. Cancelled all our other appointments the next day. When you know, you know!

One. We knew right away where we wanted it to be

Three. I had about six more set up, but we fell in love with the third so stopped looking.

We actually only toured the one! We just loved it when we saw it!

Three! one venue that we didn’t end up choosing, one ceremony venue that we booked immediately and one reception venue that we are just about to book!

We toured 4 venues in 1 day during our vacation to Victoria.

#1 was the front runner but we were vastly disappointed

#2 won our hearts.

#3 was too flashy, and we didn’t like the obligatory catering package.

#4, was smaller and plainer than we’d expected.

Technically only 1. The first one we had scheduled to tour..the owner had decided she wanted to get her nails done instead and she never showed.
And the second one, which was our #1 pick and the one we booked.

We completely toured one; we saw 2.

None, we are getting married at the place we first met (the big axe in Nackawic New Brunswick) so we didn't need to tour anywhere and we are having a small reception at the Lions Club next door because it's easy and there are no too many other options around here

If I remember correctly, we toured about 6 venues. It was the last venue that we toured which ended up being the one (which is why we stopped at 6 lol).
